This shapefile contains the locations of conflict calls from the public regarding human-black bear (Ursus americanus floridanus) interactions in the state of Florida. This dataset includes only those reports that are associated with concurrent bear observations in the general vicinity of the caller. The data also were limited to those records obtained from the black bear database maintained by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), and that were associated with a geographic coordinate. |
